Jewelry boxes come in all shapes and sizes, but the ordinary varieties with small compartments are more decorative than practical in regards to storage. Necklaces and chains end up tangled. Smaller items including rings and earrings end up scattered throughout. It is best to hang necklaces on hooks to avoid impossible tangles. Bracelets are easier to find and access when they are stored on hooks rather than in piles.
I had two ordinary boxes for many years before finding other methods of storage and display,Wholesale Earring. One had a rotating wheel of hooks, but it did not prevent my necklaces from becoming terribly tangled. The simple act of turning the wheel resulted in snarled chains that were nearly impossible to disentangle. The drawers were not deep enough to hold bracelets, and they were not practical for storing rings. I wanted to find alternatives, and I discovered a number of unique and stylish storage and display options.
Consider an Abstract Metal Tree for Storage and Display
I prefer to display and store my necklaces, pendants, bracelets and rings on a unique jewelry tree. The metal branches provide more than enough room to hold my favorite necklaces, glass pendants, rings and bracelets. It does not hold everything, but the tree is far more stylish than the ordinary jewelry boxes that I once used. It also provides a way to flaunt some of my most beautiful pieces.
Unique Mannequins for Holding Necklaces, Rings and More
Another one of the most creative ways to store and display particularly eye-catching necklaces is on a jewelry mannequin. Depending on the style, some can also hold bracelets and rings. A tabletop jewelry mannequin provides a great way to store and display several favorites. They are available in various styles from Victorian to modern, and they provide a classy way to showoff the very best.
An Armoire is Ideal for Storage and Display
For those with a huge cache of jewelry, an armoire is an excellent choice. They come in many sizes and styles, and they hold a massive amount of jewelry from rings to brooches and everything in between. This method of storage and display is more than just a box. It is a piece of stylish furniture with a practical purpose. However, be prepared to pay upwards of $100 for a low end jewelry armoire. Quality pieces designed from fine wood cost hundreds of dollars.
I plan on buying a beautiful six-drawer armoire in the near future, but I will continue to use my metal jewelry tree. Although an armoire will hold all of my bobbles, bangles and beads, my dresser top jewelry tree provides fast and easy access to my personal favorites. It is also a part of my bedroom decorating scheme.
